"You Punched Me In The Boob!"

"You Punched Me In The Boob!" is a phrase and running gag which is featured in the Scott Pilgrim franchise in reference to Roxie Richter being punched in the boob by Scott Pilgrim when they first meet.

Roxie firsts says the line in Volume 4 during her first appearance after Scott strikes her after leaving work at the Happy Avocado. After questioning Roxy, she immediately disappears.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World[]

In the film, after Scott is phoned by his ex-girlfriend Envy Adams, he goes out on a walk to clear his mind, however he is consistently reminded about having to fight the Evil Exes. Whilst walking, Roxy begins following Scott which begins to irritate him. After she continues to follow, Scott screams "enough" and is seen punching Roxy in the boob, something which she exclaims when she falls to the ground.

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off[]

Although Roxie doesn't speak the line in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, Scott himself references it in "2 Scott 2 Pilgrim" after finding out that his future self punched Roxie in the boob. Future Scott tells his younger self that it was "circumstances out of his control".
