Even Older Scott

The Battle at the Dream Desert took place when Even Older Scott Pilgrim teleported Scott and his friends, along with the Evil Exes to the Dream Desert to battle them once and for all, with the aim of destroying all of them.

History[]

Following Scott's return to the past after the events of "2 Scott 2 Pilgrim", Even Older Scott Pilgrim teleports Scott and his friends away from the opening performance of Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Musical, along with the Evil Exes, to the Dream Desert.

After belittling his younger self for going back at continuing to date Ramona, Even Older Scott states that he vows to destroy all of Scott's friends and the Evil Exes.

As the battle begins, Ramona brings out the Big Hammer and begins attacking Even Older Scott. Scott himself begins to physically attack his older self. Knives begins to attack Even Older Scott with her blades, and successfully manages to until he punches the highlights out of her hair.

The Evil Exes get weapons from Ramona's bag, and they start to fight using their powers and their weapons. Everyone except Scott and Ramona are teleported back to the theatre, with Wallace looking on in confusion.

Back at the Dream Desert, after being punched to the ground, Scott sees Ramona who tells him that his older self might be right as he is him from the future and doubts the thought of wanting to date Scott in that state of mind.

Even Older Ramona stops the battle when she begins to confront Even Older Scott and shouting at him for not getting in touch in ten years. Even Older Ramona later fuses with Ramona to form Super Ramona who sends Even Older Scott back into the room that he trained in for a decade, ending the battle by sending Scott and Ramona back to the theatre as the musical concludes.

Trivia[]

  • This battle is the last one to feature in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.
  • Wallace Wells is the only one of the main seven characters that was not teleported to the Dream Desert, this is possibly due to the friendship Future Scott had with Future Wallace, despite the latter throwing him out after his younger self returned to the past.
  • Even Older Scott punching Knives' highlights out of her hair is a reference to a similar incident in Scott Pilgrim & the Infinite Sadness, when Lynette Guycott punches the highlights out of Knives' hair.
