The Battle in Subspace was a battle fought between Scott Pilgrim and Roxie Richter in Subspace.
History[]
Whilst crashing at Lisa's sister's apartment, Scott fell asleep. In his dream, he runs through a forest, with a voice asking him if he knew the cheat code. Scott said no and the voice reminded him how he once knew it. Scott trips over a log, finding a half angelic half demonic Ramona Flowers. He asked it if Ramona was everything he ever wanted, but it told him that that was up to him.
Suddenly, Roxie Richter appeared. She commented that Scott dreams sucked, but he denied this. She swung her sword at him, slicing off some hair. Scott realized this was a dream. Roxie gave chase, telling she taught Ramona how to use Subspace, before chopping off his arm. Scott took a tumble and reminded himself that this was all just some crazy dream. Roxie told that people can die in dreams, swinging her sword at him, and Scott told her he didn't want to die in a dream like this as he ran across a river. As she kept chasing him, she swung her sword at him and asked what his last words are, to which Scott replied "STOP KILLING ME!".

- This entire sequence maybe a reference to A Nightmare On Elm Street, preferably the fact that the main villain of the franchise, Freddy Krueger, can kill people in their dreams.
