In The Game
A cheat in the Game (Up, Up, Down, Down, Up, Up, Up, Up) allows coin sprites to turn into animal sprites when defeating an enemy. This is an obvious reference to the 'Sonic the Hedgehog' games.
Trivia
- The coins in the Movie were in fact real Canadian Dollars. Actor Mark Webber (who portrays Stephen Stills) stated in his commentary that he had pocketed $24 from the Chaos Theatre scene after Gideon's defeat.
- The cheatcode that transforms coins into animals has the same button combination as the cheatcode for Sonic 3 Scott asked Wallace about in Episode 2.
