Edgar Howard Wright is a British film and television director and writer who was the director of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World and being one of executive producers for the Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. He is most famous for his work on the Cornetto trilogy films Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End alongside Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, who would go on and voice the Studio Security Guards in Takes Off.
Wright's work on Scott Pilgrim vs. the World earned him the 2011 Empire Award for Best Director.
Wright also presented the Entertainment Weekly Reunions Presents Scott Pilgrim vs. the World read-through which celebrated ten years of the film's release.
