Edgar Howard Wright is an English film and television director and writer. He is most famous for his work on the films Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, and for directing the film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. He is currently set to direct Marvel's Ant-Man film as well.
Wright's work on the Scott Pilgrim film earned him the 2011 Empire Award for Best Director.
