Lucas Lee's Skateboard was a skateboard owned by Lucas Lee.
History[]
Graphic novels[]
The skateboard first appeared in Volume 2 of the graphic novels. Wallace Wells had written a dossier on Lucas, for Scott, which informed him that he was a professional actor and an good skateboarder. Scott, Wallace and their friends later went to confront him at the Casa Loma. Whilst talking with Lucas, he revealed that Ramona cheated on him with another boy. Lucas decided Scott was a nice and offered to not fight him, but Scott provoked him and he changed his mind.
Before Lucas could kill him, he asked, as a final request, if Lucas could skate down the rails at the Casa Loma. Lucas refused at first as the rails were garbage, but accepted the challenge when Scott threatened his reputation. Lucas rode his skateboard down the rails, quickly picking up speed as he went. Lucas' final speed was left unknown as he was going "too fast to live". As a result, he hit the bottom of the staircase and exploded into fourteen dollars in cash.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World[]
Lucas uses his board again in the movie. After telling Scott about the League of Ramona's Evil Exes, he offered Scott a beer, but tricked him and beat him down. Scott agreed that he was a good actor, before questioning his skateboarding skills. Lucas answered that he was, having founded his own skate company. Scott asked if he could do a "grindy-thingy" on the staircase rails, but Lucas refused, citing the quality of the rails. Scott said that if it was too hardcore, then he didn't have to do it, but Lucas asked if he really thought he could trick him. When Scott pointed out that there girls watching them, Lucas asked for his board.
Wallace handed him his board, and Lucas performed the stunt. As with the books, Lucas gained speed the further he went down, before exploding at the bottom of the rails.
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off[]
Lucas used the board again in battle against Future Scott Pilgrim during the Battle at the Dream Desert. Roxie distracted him with her Pixel Katana, which allowed Lucas to hit him with the skateboard, giving Todd the opportunity to beat him into the ground with his vegan powers.
