Netflix was a DVD rental service which Ramona Flowers worked for in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off after moving to Toronto from New York. Scott Pilgrim used Netflix to rent a DVD in the hope of meeting Ramona again after they met briefly at Julie Powers' party.
History[]
When Scott questions Julie about Ramona at her party, she tells Scott that she got a job selling DVDs for Netflix. Afterwards, Scott uses Netflix to rent a DVD in the hope of reuniting with Ramona after briefly meeting each other at the party. When Ramona arrives with the DVD at the apartment, she mistakes Scott to be Wallace Wells as he buys the DVD through Wallace's credit card.
Ramona later leaves her job delivering for Netflix to pursue a career as a stunt double.
In the real world[]
Netflix is a real company which used to provide a DVD rental service before turning into a streaming service. Netflix would later distribute Scott Pilgrim Takes Off when it released in 2023.

- In the graphic novels and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Ramona works for Amazon.ca instead of Netflix.
