Roxie Richter's Sword is Roxie Richter's main choice of weapon, using it in nearly every fight she participates in.
History[]
Scott Pilgrim graphic novels[]
Roxie first uses the sword in battle against Scott at The Happy Avocado. Scott immediately chickens out, so Ramona fights in his stead whilst he hides in her Subspace Suitcase. Ramona used her Titanium Baseball Bat in battle against her. Roxie chased them out of the restaurant and into Subspace. Roxie and Ramona brawled across Subspace, until a hit from Ramona's baseball bat caused her to drop her sword. Roxie got back up, grabbed it, and phased through Ramona to attack her from behind. Scott warned Ramona just in time, and she blocked the attack with her bat. Roxie pushed forward, knocking Ramona to the ground, before leaving.
Later, Roxie appears in Scott's dream and attempts to kill him there, but she only manages to slice off some hair and an arm.
Roxie's last use of the sword was in battle at Ramona's Apartment. Mr. Chau followed Scott through Subspace and attempted to kill him, but Scott distracted him by pitting him against Roxie. Roxie quickly realized that he wasn't sent by Gideon Graves and Scott only did this to get out of fighting her. When she calls him a pussy for doing this, he asked Ramona what she thought of him. When she told he could "be less of a pussy", he confessed his love for her, earning 9999 EXP and a sword for himself, the Power of Love. Scott and Roxie engaged in combat, quickly ending with Roxie's defeat.
Scott Pilgrim vs the World[]
The sword doesn't appear in the movie, instead being replaced by a chain whip.
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off[]
Roxie uses this sword in combat against Ramona at No-Account Video. After Ramona provokes her, the two start fighting. Roxie swung her sword at Ramona, but she dodged the attack and retaliated with her Large Hammer when she jumped at her. Roxie got on top of Ramona's shoulders causing to stagger around blindly, but eventually, she fell down. Roxie attempted to lunge at her, but Ramona kicked her into a shelf, causing it fall on top of them.
The shelf transported them into an old movie. Roxie fell from the sky above, knocking across the street. Roxie charged at her again, but Ramona blocked the attack, sending them into an old Japanese movie, where they fought in front of a small crowd. The fight took them into a Japanese room. Roxie tried to strike again, but was quickly blocked by the hammer. The power of the strike left them both momentarily dazed, so Roxie used the opportunity to push Ramona down a stairwell. She attempted to kill her again, but Kim Pine intervened and rewinded the movie from inside the store, rewinding it back to their confused daze. This time, Ramona took the opportunity, and whacked Roxie back into the store. Kim watched as Roxie grabbed the TV remote from her and destroyed with the sword.
Ramona pulled her pulled her back into the fight, and they ended up in a Western onboard a train. Ramona protested that she doesn't want to fight her, and Roxie mockingly asked if she would run away again. As Ramona reflects on how she treated her, Roxie levels her sword and charges at her again, and they exchange blows, eventually ending up onboard a crashing plane. Ramona apologizes for how she treated Roxie, which she accepts. However, Roxie still refuses to let her win the fight, but before she can strike again, the plane is shot down, and they are ejected from the movie, and end up back in the store.
Trivia[]
