Scott Pilgrim's Funeral took place in Toronto, Canada in the second Scott Pilgrim Takes Off episode "A League of Their Own" following Scott Pilgrim's supposed "death" at the hands of Matthew Patel in the previous episode.

History[]

Following Scott's defeat and "death" at the hands of Matthew Patel, a funeral was hosted to celebrate Scott's life. In attendance were some of his close friends and family. The funeral was later gate-crashed by Envy Adams who arrived in a limo and had a grand entrance made as she walked in the cathedral. Envy explained that she used to date Scott before performing "I Will Remember You".

Following her performance, Envy leaves while the attendees and the Paparazzi Ninjas chase after her, leaving Ramona (and seemingly the only sad one) as the sole attendee left at the funeral. Ramona walks up to Scott's coffin and apologises to him as she looks into it, revealing the three coins sent to the past by Future Scott.

As revealed by Roxie Richter later on, Envy Adams' presence at the funeral caused the event to make the news headlines.

Scott's memorial photo is based on the picture of him featured in the "Colour Collection" version of Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life featuring with Knives Chau.
The cathedral the funeral takes place in is St. James Cathedral, located in Toronto.
This is the second time Scott Pilgrim had a funeral. The first was in Volume 2 in a dream that Kim had in which Simon Lee killed Scott Pilgrim.
