List of cheats and glitches in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game. All cheats must be input on the game's title screen to take effect with the exceptions of the Sound Check Level code (which must be input on the level select screen), and the Noble Sacrifice code (which must be input during gameplay).
Moveset Roadmap[]
This is the roadmap in which all characters share in the game. In "[Square Brackets]" means the button pressed and all inputs are assumed the player is facing right.
XP is based on how much damage you dealt to the enemy, for example; if you hit 3 enemies at once and they all took 4 Damage, you will gain 12 XP (or if you purchase items from the shops throughout the game). When you level up, your character will get their Health Points (HP for Short) fully healed and also fully regain their Guts Points (GP for short) they have used.

Glitches[]
Skip Snowy Toronto (first level)[]
In the Snowy Toronto stage, fight your way to Hillcrest Park. Without killing the last enemy before you're allowed to move on, move over to the middle of the right side of the screen and hold up and right. You'll see your character slowly start to move off screen, after which you can dash blindly through the level with none of the enemies loaded. After the screen dips down and back up, hold up and right to make sure you enter the Subspace door at the end of the level. This is a great way to earn the Invulnerable trophy with very little effort.
Move during Roxie's/Todd's cutscene (Leo's Place)[]
When you defeat the enemies by the stage and when "GO!" appears, stand on the box/drum before their cutscene plays. Your player will "Land" and go to the designated spot from the cutscene. This also effect Todd's cutscene as well. In some instances, the player character will still be in their idle pose, Running will fix this.
The Katayanagi "Quick Kill"[]
(Left Side) During World 5-3 "Dragon Den" before the final room against the twins, grab the weapon that Sammo has (A Metal stick with a little ball). Merge the statue and enter the room and keep moving and then start swinging (at the middle of the twins, as the swinging hitbox is rather large) when there about to do the "thumbs down" animation, attack them! they will fly to the left/right corner and then walk back to their designated spot. after "KPOW" appears, they will start laughing. Wait for the boss cutscene plays out and then just swing them again to defeat them. This only works (in theory) with 1 Player.
- *DISCOVERED* alternatively, should you kill the twins at the right side, the K.O. background will play but they will still do the laughing animation (and the boss cutscene still plays out as well), hit them again and they will do their "Die" animations. While their boss theme overlapping the victory theme, this also applies to the Stage 5 ending cutscene, The game corrects the music at the level select.
- There is another method for this and it works well with 2 or more people. You cannot attack the twins while they are in their piano animation but the game does not remove their hitboxes and you can still grapple combo or judo throw them which starts the boss early and skips the thumbs down animation. It is possible to even kill the twins before their fighting banner and info appear which makes the game sped up until you finish the level and go to level select. It is better to grapple combo rather than judo throw as they can attack you earlier if you judo throw them.
Ghost Glitch[]
This glitch was discovered recently, so there's not a lot of info on it. In order to perform the glitch, stand in the lower-left corner of the first screen of the Frozen Suburbs. Then, do the Noble Sacrifice Cheat Code (see above) and hold right before respawning. It will make you float above the level, unable to be hurt by enemies on the ground. However, you can't fight them yourself. You can escape by trying to walk up/down offscreen. Using the Noble Sacrifice while glitched like this will give you the ability to walk offscreen. It seems to be easier to pull off with a lower SPD stat. It is definitely possible to do this glitch as Ramona, Stills, and Wallace on the Complete Edition in World 1. Info on other characters/versions are currently unknown, however it is easiest to do so during and in-between levels 3 and 5.
Secrets[]
Mobile's Secret House[]
In Level 6, after you get the key and fight a few of the wolverines, you should see a little house in the background with a path leading to it. The path doesn't take you to the house, but keep walking along the top of the screen and you'll eventually enter a secret path. Mobile's food list is good, and he has a special training manual (for $57.50) that unlocks the characters second special move.
Wallace's Secret Shop[]
In the first level shortly after the shopping district (when you enter the underground car tunnel) there will be a star on the wall near where the cars drive by, go up into that star and a hidden doorway will open leaving you with some of the best items in the game to purchase.

Unlock No Account Video Store at the Shopping District[]
It may seem like Scott has built up a hefty late fee of $504.25, but pay off his debts you are rewarded with some fantastic items, all for the low price of $4.95:
- The Mystical Head- a 1up (a player can have a max of 9 at one time)
- Seven Shaolin Masters- XP:+100 DEF:+10 SPD:+10 WP:+10 STR:+10
- Aliens Vs T-Rex- STR:+20 SPD:+20
- Alone and Disturbed- XP:+1500
- I Love Your Boyfriend- XP: +320 DEF:+15 WP:+15
Easy Invulnerable Achievement/Trophy[]
After beating Level 3 At Leo's Place start the level again after the brief cut scene the screen should say go, then go to the map and start the second half of this level (use the Power of Love cheat before everything and have at least 30 strength defeat Envy and Lynette without getting hit should be easy. After completing the backstage maze Todd's information should pop up after that you should get the achievement/trophy.
Ramona's Item Stockpile[]
While playing as Ramona, hold down strong attack for five seconds and release. Ramona will pull out a random item out of her Subspace Suitcase for the cost of 20 gut points. It can spawn many different items, from bricks to katanas. This can be done as long as you have 20+ guts points, so if you have a lot of guts points, go crazy.
Get infinite money/Quickly becoming overpowered[]
This can be done with however many people you want, and it can be done immediately after getting to the Shopping District, so its an easy way to overpower yourself and completely steamroll your way through the rest of the game.
Go to Level 1, the shopping district, and buy a health item to go. It doesn't matter which one, but I recommend the Chewing Gum, as it's very cheap (only 90 cents). Make sure when you pause the game there is a health item in the square space next to your Health and Willpower. Then leave the store and input the Noble Sacrifice Cheat (see above at the end of the Cheat Codes section). Your character's health will immediately drop to 0 and $50 worth of $2 coins will spawn. Two things to note:
- The money spawned won't be from your wallet, so there is no loss of your own cash.
- If you have a health item to go when your health drops to zero, the item will be used and your health should increase to whatever health value it has. (Ex: Chewing Gum puts your Health Points to 30).
After this collect the money and repeat this process until you have the amount of money you need. I recommend, if you want to max out your stats, getting about $600 so you can pay off Scott's late fees at the video store (first store in the shopping district) and buying "Seven Shaolin Masters"($4.95!) 10 times. It increases each stat by 10, so just 10 will max out your stats. Then use the extra cash to buy "Alone and Disturbed"($4.95) for 1500 XP or maybe "The Mystical Head"($4.95!) for a 1-UP.
If you have a second controller handy you can skip the health item step by simply having a second character revive you after each death, or even just perform noble sacrifice with the player 2 controller, then use player 1 to collect the cash and revive player 2, then repeat.
