In Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, after Wallace Wells encourages him to go and fight Gideon Graves to win Ramona Flowers back, Scott immediately puts on his wristbands and his parka in an epic montage, but it abruptly stops when Scott ties the laces on his sneakers.

Scott Pilgrim Takes Off[]

In the final episode of Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, "The World Vs Scott Pilgrim", when Scott and Ramona are about to face Even Older Scott Pilgrim and strike him together, Scott stops Ramona and tells her to wait before he ties his sneakers in a similar fashion to the movie.
