Scott and Ramona and Me: My Precious BIG Life as Scott Pilgrim's Best Pal was a memoir written by Old Young Neil.

History[]

Sometime during Ramona and Scott's thirteen-year long marriage from 2005 to 2018, Young Neil writes a memoir that details their lovestory. The memoir, titled as Scott and Ramona and Me: My Precious BIG Life as Scott Pilgrim's Best Pal, was published sometime before the couple's separation in 2018. Wallace Wells read the memoir, calling it a decent love story, but noted that it "could have used more Wallace". Viewers get to listen to a short excerpt from the book:

Sometime later into the future, Ramona learned of her ex-husband's intention to erase his heartbreak by going back to the past and kidnapping his younger self to ensure that he and Ramona never meet.

Ramona took Neil's memoir and successfully rewrote it into a screenplay. She planted it onto Young Neil's computer, in the hopes that it would be adapted into a movie, which Scott would watch, thus convincing him to be with Ramona. Ultimately, the plan would fail, but they were convinced by her to continue their relationship.

Trivia[]

  • The book title is a parody of John, Paul, George, Ringo and Me, a memoir about The Beatles, written by Tony Barrow who knew the band members during the height of their fame.
  • The book cover of the memoir references Steve Jobs, a biography written by Walter Isaacson on the life of Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple Inc, with Old Young Neil's pose on the front cover mimicking that of Jobs.
  • Bryan Lee O'Malley posted an extract of pages 74 and 75, that Scott turns to in Future Ramona's Apartment. This later transpires to be an extract from page 74 of the book.
