History[]
Graphic novels[]
Scared of going to fight alone, Scott got Wallace Wells to tag along with him. Upon entering the grounds, they spotted Lucas sitting nearby, reading a book and smoking, with skateboard and cooler to his left and right. Lucas noticed them anda sked if they needed something. Scott was starstruck to have been spoken to by a famous person, but Wallace reminded him that Lucas was his enemy. Scott greeted Lucas, but got his name confused with Lucas "Crash" Wilson. When learned he was Scott Pilgrim, he immediately discarded his cigarette and socked him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground as Wallace ran away. Scott asked for Lucas's autograph, only to be thrown into the wall of one of the castle towers.
Scott wakes up moments later to find that Kim Pine and Neil Nordegraf have arrived to see the fight. Lucas offers Scott a break, noting his cooler has baby carrots, gatorade and some ritz crackers. As they sat on a bench, Scott asked what movie he was filming here. Lucas told him that the movie, You Just Don't Exist, is a romantic comedy and he's co-starring with Winifred Hailey. Scott noted that Winifred was sixteen years old, and Lucas joked that he wasn't in charge of which are cast in his movies. Scott changed the subject at Lucas' request, asking if he could share some embarrassing stories about Ramona. Lucas tears up as he discloses how she cheated on him with another boy.
Lucas tells Scott how he was almost denied entry into the League, but was eventually let in due to his history with Ramona. Scott asked about this "League". Lucas was angry that Matthew Patel didn't introduce the League to Scott, explaining that the League is the reason the Evil Exes are organized enough to go after Scott one-by-one. Lucas offers let Scott ditch the fight in exchange for his money. Scott points out Wallace's earlier statement about Lucas being a sellout. Lucas switches gears and prepares to kill him, but then Scott takes notice of the locations staircase, asking if he could do a grind on the staircase rails, bringing his skateboarding reputation. Lucas backs out, pointing out how the number of steps the bad rail quality, but goes for it after Scott calls it "impossible".
Lucas quickly skates down the rails, gaining speed as he jumps and skates across them. Lucas' final speed is declared to be "TOO FAST TO LIVE", and he loses control before exploding into cash at the bottom of the staircase. Scott is sad that he didn't get his autograph. Scott looks at the cash, just as Ramona swings by. The cash Lucas left behind amounts to fourteen dollars. Scott receives an item, a Mithril Skateboard, which he is unable to use due to lack of skateboard proficiency. Scott and his friends leave the event.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World[]
Whilst arriving at Casa Loma to watch Lucas Lee film his new movie, Lucas meets Scott and tells him that the only thing keeping him in Ramona apart are the two minutes it's gonna take to kick Scott's ass. He punches Scott and throws him to Casa Loma's tower. He punches Scott again as he gets off the airbags. Scott then discovers that Lucas has nine stunt doubles on set which he realises he needs to to fight before fighting the real Lucas. Although he was knocked down by the doubles, Scott knocked them all down.
As Scott and Lucas charge to each other Ninja Gaiden-style, Scott jumps and Lucas kicks him before Scott can even attack and lands on the ground through a paper background. After the fight, Lucas is dared to do an impossible skating stunt by Scott that "nobody has ever done in their entire lives". Scott successfully defeats him as Lucas failed to perform the stunt and dissolved into coins and Scott is awarded 2000 points for defeating him. After defeating Lucas, Scott discovers that Ramona was not where she was standing anymore and asks what the big deal was.
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off[]
The battle between Scott and Lucas appears briefly in the "Good Memoroies" slideshow reel owned by Future Scott. When showing his younger self, he declared that Lucas, and all the other exes were "seven deadly chumps" after Scott said to him that they didn't look that tough and that "[Lucas] just skateboarded to his death".
