Starmen were a pair of stars owned by Michael Comeau.
History[]
As Scott Pilgrim questioned him on when he opened his own Eatery and Fight Club, Comeau responded by showing him his stars. Scott was amazed that the invincibility actually worked, but Comeau explained that the pair he owned were actually Chinatown knockoffs, but he could download whatever song he wanted onto them.
Immediately, Comeau played a Smiths song and challenged Scott to fight him, but Ramona called this an unfair advantage as Scott couldn't fight to a song by the Smiths. Although Scott gained the upperhand by distracting Comeau, Comeau eventually won by kicking Scott in the balls.
Trivia[]
- The Starmen are references to the Starmen from Super Mario Bros, which when picked up, do give the player temporary invincibility.
- The Smiths song Comeau downloads is "This Charming Man".
