The Benvie Boys (also known as The Benvie Tech Boys) were a group of high school students from Benvie Tech High School who beat up students at St. Joel's Catholic High School, kidnapped Kim Pine and fought Scott Pilgrim in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. They feature prominently in Scott Pilgrim vs. the Animation and further appear in the Scott Pilgrim Takes Off episode, "Ramona Rents a Video" in a flashback where Kim tells Ramona how she and Scott met each other.

Scott Pilgrim graphic novels and Scott Pilgrim vs. the Animation[]
The Benvie Boys' only appearance in the graphic novels was in the opening flashback of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World where they are seen fighting Scott after he arrives to save Kim from the group and their leader, Simon Lee. After defeating the Benvie Boys, Scott successfully beats Simon and throws him off the roof. This same scenario plays out in Scott Pilgrim vs. the Animation, which is an adaption of the flashback in the graphic novel.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World[]
Despite not appearing in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, the Benvie Boys are indirectly mentioned by Scott to Ramona when she asks Scott about his past relationship with Kim. Scott explained that he had to fight a "crazy 80 foot tall purple suited dude" and "96 guys" to get to her.
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off[]
The Benvie Boys briefly appear in the episode "Ramona Rents a Video" when Kim Pine tells Ramona Flowers how she and Scott first met. She explained to her that Scott was rescuing her "from a rival school from an army of of teen jerks and their leader Simon Lee".
