Time travel is the act of one or more persons using such methods to travel to different points of time across the timeline, thus allowing them to change history as they see fit.
History[]
Scott Pilgrim graphic novels[]
Time travel was first mentioned in Volume 3, where Michael Comeau mentions using it to acquire a scary ring from the future. How he time traveled is unknown.
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off[]
In a different timeline, Scott married Ramona after defeating the League of Evil Exes. However, after problems arose, Ramona took some space away. In this future, Scott had started a band with the Twins and had befriended Robot-01. One day, before the couple separated, Wallace Wells jokingly suggested that he go back in time and prevent himself from dating Ramona. However, he took this seriously and asked the Twins for help. They explained that if they disconnected Robot-01 from the time-space continuum, he would experience his entire existence at the same time, thus meaning he could time travel. With this information, Scott kidnapped his younger self and tried to hold him prisoner in the future until he agrees to break up with Ramona.
Future Ramona heard about this plan and came up with a back up. She took a memoir that Young had written about them, turned it into a screenplay and sent it back in time, so that Scott would see it as a movie, convincing him to try again with Ramona. Although the plan fails, she is convinced by younger Ramona's attempt to find Scott in the wake of his kidnapping and using her time-travelling rollerskates (built from an old DMC DeLorean), she sent him back through time to the past.
Methods[]
- Veganism: Being a vegan by law, Robot-01 could create time portals to use to travel between past, present and future.
- Rollerskates: Future Ramona built herself a pair of time-travelling roller skates which, when she goes at 88 mph, can travel through time.

- Future Ramona building a pair of time-travelling roller skates using parts of a DMC DeLorean, is in reference to Back to the Future.
