Scott Pilgrim and the Infinite Sadness

Todd's Bass was a Fender Mustang bass guitar owned and used by Todd Ingram.

History[]

Scott Pilgrim graphic novels[]

As part of The Clash at Demonhead, Todd was the band's bassist and played a red Fender Mustang. In May, 2004, the group was signed for weekend-long deal at Lee's Palace, where local bands would get their chance to shine. The band was third in line following Unnamed First Band and Unnamed Second Band. Todd played bass for their opener, "Underwater Motor Scooter".

That weekend, the rest of the bands play on Sunday to finish off the event. While Sex Bob-omb waits to perform, Scott and Todd engage in a bass battle, weaponizing the sounds from the bass guitars to attack each other. Scott gains advantage from Crash and the Boys, but Todd overpowers them. After Todd is found guilty of breaking vegan edge by consuming gelato earlier in the afternoon, the Vegan Police arrive and erase his powers, allowing Scott to defeat him.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World[]

In the movie, the band takes place in the second round of the Toronto International Battle of the Bands. The round takes place at Lee's Palace, where they play "Black Sheep", with Todd providing the bass line. Much like in the books, Todd and Scott engage in bass battle, with the Vegan Police arriving after Todd accidentally ingests a half-and-half.

In the anime, Todd and the band perform "Black Sheep", at an open-air event, with Todd providing the bass line.
