The Toronto Public Library (also known as the Toronto Reference Library) is a library in Toronto, Canada which features in the Scott Pilgrim franchise.
History[]
Scott Pilgrim graphic novels[]
The library first appears in Volume 1, when Scott Pilgrim and Knives Chau visit the Wychwood branch. Here, Scott sees Ramona Flowers for the first time, as he walks down the stairs.
In Volume 2, the Yonge Street branch is seen, and Knives is spotted on top of the building after she dyes her hair red. Later, it becomes the location of a fight between Ramona and Knives which results in the latter escaping.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World[]
The library also appears in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, where similar to the graphic novels, Scott and Knives visit and as he walks downstairs, Scott notices Ramona, she looks back at him briefly before leaving.
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off[]
The library is briefly seen on the screens of Gideon's lair in the first episode of Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, where Scott and Knives are walking down the stairs, similarly to what they do in the graphic novels and the movie.
